It began in the crashing waves of Venice Beach with "Makin Waves", traveling onward through the never-ending sea and landing at the shore of "The Hanging Gardens" a place proclaimed to be both a myth and an ancient wonder of the world. Leaving the gardens and wandering through the vast desert, Substance stumbled upon "A Righteous Offering". Each project is more intense and layered than the last, leading up to where we are now. within the "Desolate Lands.
The desolate lands in short, is both a reference to how I see the current state of the world at times, as well as my hometown/state. The project is much more than beats and rhymes.
